James commenced his career at Ernst & Young (Melbourne) – Entrepreneurial Services Division. The ES unit primarily provided advisory support to the middle and SME market, very much the same clients as the current target market at 360 Partners. In the last twenty five years James has progressively built a strong accounting and advisory consulting practice with clients and activity spread across Australia, Asia, North America, and South Africa. James is regularly engaged as a key financial advisor to many developing SME’s.

Together with business partner Alex Hammond, James was a founding stakeholder and director in a successful Melbourne entertainment and leisure facility, achieving a 100% return of capital to investors within the first two years of operation. Other recent successes include co-founding and exiting an Australian online daily deal business and developing and exiting a cloud based business planning software venture.
